China keen on coop. in Iran’s Pardis Technology Park

TEHRAN, Jun. 15 (MNA) – President of Shanghai Academy of Social Sciences Wang Zhan has expressed his interest in participating in the third phase of Iran’s Pardis Technology Park development project.

Wang Zhan, President of Shanghai Academy of Social Sciences (SASS) also serving as Deputy Secretary General of the CPC Shanghai Municipal Committee, took a tour of Iran’s Pardis Technology Park (PTP) – a satellite city 20 kilometers outside of the Tehran – and expressed his interest in cooperating with PTP member companies for development of its third phase; “Pardis Technological Park is ranked high and enjoys high standards,” he said.

PTP, as the region’s paradise of technology, has a total of 123 Hi-Tech companies as its members in different establishment categories (Lands, Multi-Tenant Building and Business Incubator).

“Shanghai Academy of Social Sciences has been founded in 1958, while various technological parks amounting to 54 have been established in various parts across China, and as such there are plenty opportunities for cooperation with Pardis Technological Park,” he said.

Under an MoU signed between Iran’s Vice-Presidency for Science and Technology and China’s Ministry of Sciences and Technology, high-tech Chinese companies will be stationed in the third phase of Pardis Technological Park independently and with cooperation with Iranian companies.
